-Trips With The Global Haiti Initiative

The Global Haiti Initiative umbrella organization is offering trips this summer with the Colline Foundation. Each chapter offers trips of their own, such as FSU's chapter to New Life Children's Home orphanage.

Summer Volunteer Program

Colline Foundation facilitated a summer camp for over 150 children in the summer of 2010. Many of them have never attended school, some have lost their homes and some have even lost their entire families in the January 12th earthquake. We have seen first-hand the effects of a visit from caring individuals to take part in the lives of the children and how they benefited greatly from the exposure to volunteers of good character and a giving spirit. The children, during the summer camp, have forgotten their troubles and focused on learning from and communicating with our international volunteers. We had lifted their spirits and made sure that they were fed everyday during our time with them; all the while giving them basic language and mathematics skills through our educational workshops. Furthermore, with your help, Colline Foundation can continue working with children in Haiti, by bringing in caring volunteers from around the world to carry out youth based initiatives.
