The Global Haiti Initiative works in a variety of different arenas in order to better the quality of life for all of Haiti.

Our Philosophy:

We believe that the most effective way to create change is to work with each local community  in a bottom-up approach, versus a top-down approach. The work is implemented by the local people of each community who are motivated to see their lives improve to ensure sustainability; Projects must require community participation and ressponsibility. By taking a more holisitic approach to the issues at hand, we believe that the massive movements of the leaders of today and the youth of today, we can impact Haiti as a whole.
